Currier Museum of Art

At this dynamic art museum in southern New Hampshire, I worked to elevate and streamline external communications—developing consistent messaging, shaping content strategy, and strengthening the museum’s connection with its community across channels. Scroll down to view two groupings of that work in action: press releases that brought exhibitions and events to wider audiences, and museum shop newsletters that turned curated storytelling into real engagement and revenue.

Currier Museum: Press Releases

I loved creating the museum’s communications for exhibitions and public programs, writing and distributing press releases for new shows, seasonal events, and institutional announcements. I collaborated closely with curators, educators, and senior leadership to ensure messaging was accurate, compelling, and aligned with strategic goals. For each release, I coordinated visual assets—often working directly with artists and their representatives to secure artwork permissions and photography. From major exhibitions to community events like the Summer Block Party, I helped shape public-facing narratives that celebrated the Currier’s programs and broadened its reach. Currier Museum: What’s In Store

Each month, I created and sent the What’s In Store newsletter—a curated email designed to highlight new arrivals, seasonal picks, and exhibition-related merchandise from the museum's shop. I handled every part of the process, from writing and editing the copy to styling and photographing products, designing the layout, and scheduling the campaigns. These newsletters were sent to thousands of subscribers and consistently drove engagement and sales, helping connect museum-goers with thoughtfully selected items that reflected the museum’s exhibitions and mission. The photography and captions from each edition were repurposed across social media platforms to extend reach and ensure consistent, engaging messaging across channels. (All photos are my own.
