Currier Museum of Art
Social media played a key role in expanding the Currier Museum of Art’s reach—not just by promoting exhibitions and events, but by building meaningful engagement with our audiences. I created and managed content across platforms, selecting visuals, writing copy, and developing a consistent tone that reflected the museum’s mission while remaining accessible and inviting. From highlighting objects in the collection to promoting family programs and community events, each post was crafted with clarity and purpose.

curriermuseum Come see the extraordinary new show by Daniel Otero Torres, on view now through October 6.
Titled Sonidos del Crepúsculo (Twilight Sounds), the exhibition centers on the artist’s ongoing interest in rural and peripheral communities, power structures, and collective participation.
In pulling this show together, Otero Torres utilized his signature drawings on aluminum and steel to create totemic monuments that commemorate environmental activists. The installation is complemented by the artist’s first video work, as well as a selection of paintings from the museum’s permanent collection that reference, directly or indirectly, the natural environment.

curriermuseum Have you experienced our newest exhibition, Raphäel Barontini’s "I live a journey of a thousand years”?
Barontini’s work celebrates those who have fought for equality and justice for people of color, especially in France and former French colonies. Each of the stories and figures included in his paintings and large-scale textile works have helped shape pathways toward both bodily autonomy and cultural freedom.
This exhibition is on view through June 23 and is generously supported by M. Christine Dwyer and Michael Huxtable.
Check out the link in bio to learn more about the work and artist. #raphaelbarontini #curriermuseum #manchesternh -
curriermuseum This very rainy Saturday is the perfect day for a visit to the Currier! And don’t forget: It’s Second Saturday, which means NH residents are invited to join us for FREE!
Don't miss Creative Studio from 10 am to 1 pm – a family-friendly art workshop offered every Second Saturday. Today, we'll be taking inspiration from our current exhibition, "Sanaa Gateja: Selected Works." Each intricate, large-scale work is created from recycled paper beads woven onto bark cloth. We’ll be making our own sustainable art and jewelry from scraps and materials so they can take on a new form of life for you to take home!
The Currier’s FREE Second Saturdays are sponsored by Pamela Diamantis and Morey Goodman, and The Botnick Family Foundation. #secondsaturday #curriermuseum #manchesternh #sanaagateja -
curriermuseum "We’ve made a terrible mess of things with our rigid old ideas. They’ve led to colonialism, enslavement, genocide, and climate disaster. UÝRA’s approach, queer and humane and mindful of the epoch reach of time on our planet, flies in the face of those old models of power." – Cate McQuaid, The Boston Globe
Read the Globe's full review of our current exhibition, “The Living Forest: UÝRA” (“A Floresta Viva: UÝRA”) at the link in bio.UÝRA uses organic elements – such as foliage, bark, fibers, plumage, and natural dyes – to create elaborate costumes that blur conventional separations between humans, animals, and plants. These hybrid creatures move freely between the forest and the city, ultimately commenting on the impact of anthropocentrism and industrialization.
The exhibition is on view through September 23. #uyra #curriermuseum #manchesternh
Currier Museum: Shop
I also launched separate social media accounts for the museum shop, using social media to tie merchandise to exhibitions, events, and holidays. I styled and photographed products, wrote and scheduled posts, and aligned content with development and marketing goals. Whether spotlighting handmade goods from local artists or promoting the opening of new exhibitions, I used the shop to connect visitors with our broader mission—and turn shopping interest into museum support. All photos are my own.

They’re like drawings – amusing surprises." Whether buying one as a gift for yourself or a friend, we hope these ornaments inspire a similar kind of amusing surprise. Currier Museum: Jewelry
Jewelry became a natural focal point for the museum shop’s social media presence—offering a perfect intersection of craftsmanship and style. I featured handmade pieces by local and regional artists, using photography and captioning to spotlight the materials, techniques, and inspiration behind each design. These posts not only supported sales but helped elevate jewelry as an extension of the museum’s commitment to artistry and individual expression. Through consistent messaging, I positioned the shop’s jewelry collection as both wearable art and a meaningful connection to the Currier’s mission. All photos are my own.
